Our Mission

To provide THE BEST early music education program for all of our young students.

We want to spark our student’s passion, interest and love for music that they will continue throughout their lives.

We hope to provide a safe place to develop creativity and skills in music, all within an inspiring and fun learning environment.

We strive to provide a curriculum that is child-centered, where our students discover and learn through play.

And lastly, it is our goal to foster within our students confidence, independence and joy within music making.

Formally known as MTE,

we have changed our name since September 2025.

Why “Projet Allegro?”

“Projet,” the french word for project, because we are group of music teachers with a common goal in mind…

To teach music to the very young with fun and engaging lessons accompanied by a small-steps teaching approach.

And “Allegro” because this word in music means more than a tempo…

It means to play JOYFULLY!

And that’s what we’re all about!

Group Classes at Imagination

Did you know that Projet Allegro provides the group classes at all Imagination Daycares?

We give quality and enriching music classes to all Baby, Little Toddler, Big Toddler, Little Kid and Big Kid students weekly!

Our Teachers

Our teachers are professionally trained musicians and educators. We have university degrees in the field of music and have years of teaching experience, especially in teaching children music.

Concerts, Recitals and More!

Every school year the Little and Big Kids give two very special vocal concerts to share with their parents.

We also film our Baby and Toddler students in their group music class once per year.

And another special event we host is called

“My First Recital!”

This occurs in the spring where our graduating students have the opportunity to perform a solo with their peers to a parent audience on their chosen musical instrument.

Students play solos such as “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” and “Frère Jacques” on the piano and violin.

Beyond Imagination

Our program is very special in that we continue with many of our private music students beyond Imagination Daycare.

Currently we have a studio of 30 Imagination alumni students, ages 5 – 16, studying piano and violin with us.

Votre programme est d’une richesse exceptionnelle pour l’évolution de nos enfants. Rapidement on le voit chez Benjamin qui chante quotidiennement les refrains de plusieurs chansons apprises à la garderie, il nous parle des compositeurs (comme Paganini et Mozart entre autres), son oreille musicale s’affine et reconnaît les instruments et les sons, son attention se développe de plus en plus rapidement grâce aux différentes activités musicales privées.
